What makes up the milestones of a person's life?

 

Sometimes, it's good to know that you're wrong and that some things never change.

 

Revisited some entries dated 3 years back. 3 years.. That doesn't sound such a long time ago, does it? But it sure feels that way. I guess it's because of the degree of changes that have taken place between then and now.

 

Details of a memory may fade, but the feeling never will.

 

I don't wanna miss my youth.

 

At times like this, the builder wishes he could be that wall again. Whether rain or shine, the wall remains impassive, indifferent to the weather, at least exteriorly. But he should know better, that beneath that coat of worn-out paint, the concrete slowly cracks, merely waiting to give in to the gust of wind that is to come.

 

So, he had decided to take charge. He painted a layer of gloss over the bricks. That way, the gloss would lock the raindrops away from the bricks as they glisten like diammonds to decorate the wall. And the coat of gloss would catch the brightest lights that parades the wall at its best. However, with each time that the wall proudly glows in the sun, it reflected a streak of pride that burned a little hole into a nearby trunk. The tree would now share the same fate as the wall before it got that coat of gloss. It was soon to break into two when the next storm arrives or burst into flames as the wall continued to shine.
